Black Dossier Publishing is a dba of Iron Syndicate Ventures LLC ("we"). This page explains what we collect on blackdossierpublishing.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address, when you sign up for the free checklist or our mailing list.
- Basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records when you visit any website.
How we use it
- To send you the checklist you asked for.
- To send occasional emails about our books, new releases and travel-safety updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell your information.
Who handles it for us
- Kit stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Meta provides a tracking pixel on this site. It tells us which visitors came from our ads and whether they signed up, and lets us show our ads to relevant people on Facebook and Instagram. It may collect your IP address, browser details and the pages you view. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings or with your browser's tracking protections.
- Our own visit counter keeps a simple tally of visits that arrive through campaign links and of signups, by campaign name and page. It stores no name, email address, IP address or cookie. It uses short-lived browser storage that clears when you close the tab.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. The fonts on this site are served from the site itself, so your browser does not contact a font service when you visit.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. To have your information deleted, email us and we will remove it.
